The LOOOOOOOONG Post
BOO!
Sorry for not posting for more than 2 months, was busy, and contrary to what Han Yang is saying, i don't have a girlfriend, at least not yet (a girlfriend is not an accessory ok?). Just curious....why are you so interested in my love life, my dear Han Yang? HAHA!
Anyway, i was rather busy recently, and just for people who had lived in a cave 5 hundred miles away from Singapore, POLYTECHNICS started SCHOOL. I so hate education...
Bridging the gap in Chee Kwong's life's storyline...i soon left my job at the evil warehouse, and the week after someone from the recruitment agency called me and said i breach the contract, blah blah blah... and say i must pay $630, WOOHOOO! Really made my day, and it was 9 in the morning by the way. i just argued back for about 15 mins, talking some Contract Law in Singapore stuff i am not even sure of. He backed off after 15 mins, saying he will call me back, but its May now...so WHATEVER!
That's not the end of my troubles though. On March 25 i got an sms from my school saying that i am NOT ENROLLED into the school, because i never paid SCHOOL FEES, after all the online enrollment procedures congratulate me repeatedly how grateful they are that i choosed this school. Receiving that message was like having someone telling you that you won 1st prize for a lucky draw, then call you a few days later saying you 'forfeit' that prize because you never turn yourself clockwise three times, four times anti clockwise, run to the moon, get a piece of moonrock, eat it, and then sing the Happy Birthday song backwards and forward again 5 times. Yup...thats about it. Luckily, i gotten that message on my way to the school to buy my laptop, so i rushed to the administration office, clear some doubts, and then paid my school fees the next day.
I went on to take my Adult 1st Aid course at the St John's branch at Jurong East, and suprisingly i learned a lot more than i thought. i learned a couple of bandages, like this...

Look at my hand, even though my face is so handsomely distracting. By the way, this bandage is for people who got 4 of their fingers amputated.Ouch.
Attending the course made me clashed with my course orientation day, and i missed the chance to get my school of Life Science and Chemical Tech t-shirt. D'oh! Plus i was so blur on my 1st day in the school. But me, being ever so lucky, got to know the people in my class in the end...BECAUSE my 1st week in school is Orientation week! Muahahahahahaha.(!)
But school still sucks though. i thought i am DONE with maths for like FOREVER. But (contrary to what i hoped for) to graduate from my course, i have to take 3 module of maths, 1 module in 1 semster, and they are creatively called Engineering Maths 1, 2 and, of course, 3. WOOHOO! I LURVE maths! I am also required to do Chemistry (duh), Physics (wtf?) and Biomolecular Science (gg). i feel like i'm in secondary school all over again. So boys and girls, before you put down your choice for your courses, go online and READ THE FREAKING modules. Yup.
Going school is also like secondary school, because other than Chemistry, which is IPC (Inorganic Physical Chemistry) to me, other teachers for my other modules talking in ACCENTS! Not being racist please? But i seriously learn all my stuff from their powerpoint slides at home, and in school i just read about Iron Man from Wikipedia. i just popped into school to fill up attendance, and look out for pretty girls...hahaha.
I completed 1 module already by the way, in that module i have to pick a topic to research on, interview people, and then give a presentation on it to the class. We picked shoplifting, and we 'interviewed' people in front of a mirror, if you get my drift. Yup, we faked out interviews...all but 1 friend of mine. WHEEE! I have a friend that shoplifted a tube of Mentos! LOL!
For CCA, i joined DRAGONBOAT! MUAHAHAHAHA!
HOWEVER, i quitted after the 4th training. Guess the tough times lasted longer than me...rather disappointed because i never see it through, and i pang seh Bingy...Someone like me can't just do 80+ push-ups after 6 mths of inactivity in 1 day. Plus the trainings are too frequent and long for me to take it. I will try it again next year, i swear on Chad's cat's life. LOL!
Next week's my common test, and i know that the Primary School, Secondary School, Kindergartens and Nurseries are on freaking holidays, a fact that i'm reminded every day by my Sec 3 brother, and 2 cousins, sadly my holidays are only 2 weeks long...D'oh! SCREW YOU! (WHOEVER IS IN CHARGE)
Hope this post is long enough for you. Whoever you are.

A post to placate the masses...
BOO!
Sorry for the loooooong time between the posts. I was 'busy' again. By 'busy' i mean balancing a funeral, work, my OTC, polytechnic admission stuff and keeping my sanity intact.
Lets talk about my job, a topic that many adults like to talk to hapless young adolescents like Yours Truly, when they already know we don't really two hoots about their working conditions and their overbearing manager or boss, whose job titles are often replace with 2 rude, rude words that both, coincidentally, start with 'B'.
Anyway, you came to my blog, i shall naturally assume that you wish to read what i typed, so i shall now talk about my job.
I currently work in a warehouse of an evil corporation storing evil artefacts known as 'Textbooks'......Now you know why the US cannot find the WMDs in 'I-rack' when they are stored in such a secret location like Jurong. The journey there can numb the butts of even the toughest man. Why? Its a freaking 30 mins long bus ride from Jurong East Mrt Station. However, the job is the slackest i've ever had. My days are mostly spent playing trolley racing and find dark, airy corners in the warehouse. I will post pictures of the evil warehouse in the next post, hopefully tomorrow. Hopefully.
Now, about my OTC. I started the 1st day on the wrong footing i think. I believed i was too...enthusiastic. I had thought that everyone was told in their school to raise up their hands whenever someone asked for a volunteer, and to answer a question on an audible level. BUT, i found that i was the only one shouting 'Lead With Honour, SIR!' when the officer asked for the course motto. Not once, but TWICE. ALONE. You could say i got all the attention i wanted that day.
Another thing that happened was i got the post of Division I/C, even though i volunteered for the post of Course I/C, twice, with only the Sir saying 'Anybody ELSE?' Only 1 word to describe me that day...糗.
Last thing to type about. My Poly admission. I gotten my enrolment package last Friday, and for 3 days i only looked at the laptop models, and missed the deadline to hand in the request letter for the tuition grant. Oops...i gotten scared and handed in everything that needs to be sent by post yesterday. That was the biggest Oops i did this week...so far. Hope it ends there. Going soon, need sleep for the Great Trolley Race Tournament tomorrow. Haha.

March forth, to the FUTURE!
JAE results popped out today!
Here's what i submitted for JAE
1 - S70 CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC)
2 - N56 CHEMICAL & BIOMOLECULAR ENGINEERING (NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC)
3 - T33 CHEMICAL ENGINEERING (TEMASEK POLYTECHNIC)
4 - T31 BIOTECHNOLOGY (TEMASEK POLYTECHNIC)
5 - S72 BIOTECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC)
6 - S63 MARINE ENGINEERING (SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC)
7 - N51 ACCOUNTANCY (NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC)
8 - N49 MOLECULAR BIOTECHNOLOGY (NGEE ANN POLYTECHNIC)
9 - S45 CLEAN ENERGY (SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC)
10 - S64 CHEMICAL PROCESS TECHNOLOGY (SINGAPORE POLYTECHNIC)
11 - NIL
12 - NIL
Yeah, i forfeited choice no. 11 & 12. What's the use of filling it all up? If you can see, i already started playing at choice no. 7. If you know me, i can hardly count the number of toes i have, so accountancy ain't the road for me. Seriously.
Anyway, i gotten into choice no. 2, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Ngee Ann Poly(!). Considering that its COP is 15 and i got 16. So i ain't appealing, on account of the 1 point 'discount' i gotten. What puzzled me was that my 1st choice COP is 16 and i never got in...
NOW, i've got a 'map' and a 'road' to walk on. I would'nt be lost anymore.

Oops...
BOO!
Sorry for not blogging for so long, i can think up an excuse, but i feel like being honest in this post, so lets just say i'm too bloody lazy.
Anyway, a lot of things happened to me since 18 Jan till now. I got back my Os with a rather 'ok' score of 19 for L1R5 and 16 for L1R4. Not the most ideal score, but i could do a lot more worse, so i would rather not complain. Amazingly i got B3 for maths. So, for those who are failing your maths now...there is hope for MathHaters like you and me. Haha
I applied for Chemical Engineering at Singapore Poly through the JAE thing, and their cut-off point is exactly 16. Now i can only hope that the 'contributions' i gave SJAB during my four-years 'stint' can help me in this.
By the way, i quitted my job the day before i got my Os results. Finally, i can stop seeing 'Terminators' shoppers who browse through your goods and say 'I will be BACK.', they don't exactly brighten up my day, you see. Got my pay at the 1st day of Feb (i think...), and got $354 for slacking for 7 days. Lol?
Anyway, today is the 1st day of CNY, or maybe the 2nd, as the clock is moving ever closer to the 12 mark as i type away in my half-lit living room. Today i was just sickened at the number of times i 'transformed' into a record player. I trust that this happened in the living room of most families that celebrate CNY to relatives that took the Os last year.
Unknown Relative: Hey, xxxxx! Happy CNY!
Student: Hello, Happy CNY, and _______(insert own auspicious chinese phrase)
Unknown Relative: I heard you took your O-levels last year. How did you fare?
Student: Oh, i got ____for R5 and ____for R4.
Unknown Relative: Wah! (short and loud means approval, long and soft means opposite...usually) So where are you planning to go?
Student: I'm planning to....blah blah blah.
Seems easy? Well, just do that for 6 times in a day. Yeah.
Went back to school yesterday just to say 'hi' to the teachers, it just feels so strange to be in the school so carefree and not worry about the teachers breathing down your neck. Talked to Mr Victor Tan and was told that going to Chemical Engineering has a bright future, while Pauline is told that her choice of Applied Food Science has limited career prospects. yay!
Oh, almost forgotten to make this announcement. Boon Keong and me went to an interview for OTC hopefuls. So...most probably me and him will stay around CCHY. Now you would'nt have a reason to miss us. You do want us to come back...do you my dear juniors?
Its a new year, and it started last night. Its about time i let go of my attachments to people and things i lost last year tonight. So...GOODBYE unhappy memories! I will still keep you in my mind, but only in the deepest darkest corners.
POOF! to a new START and a better tommorrow!

Week in review.
BOO!
Lots of crazy things happen last week, and sorry that i can only write about this now, because i got another job this week.(and yes, this counts as one of the crazy things that happened)
Crazy Thing #1: Last week was CCA orientation (12 Jan). I found myself explaining to students and parents what Transportation Of Casualty is about, and DAMN, its boring. Replies from them is often nothing more than disgruntled grunts and 'Oh's. Anyway, hope more of the new Sec 1 recruits can stay. If my batch is any example...haha.
Crazy Thing #2: I'M DEMOTED! I'm a Staff Sergeant now...BUT, cadets call me by Sir. Don't worry if you can't make sense of this. i had some difficulties as well. Congratulations to Nazurah and Hon Qi for your promotion to CL, and to the other Year 4s, i only have one thing to say. Ranks don't denote a person's worth, one can be a Private but have the qualities comparable to a Sergeant.
Crazy Thing #3: Went for First Aid duty after CCA Orientation...which is a night cycling activity organized by Temasek Poly. Experienced a lot of Firsts in this duty, such as cycling in the night (duh), eating at Lao Par Sah at 2am, being at Vivo at 3 in the morning, sleeping in an ambulance, sleeping at the Padang...ya, thats about it. Oh, by the way the journey was from East Coast to Vivo City and back.(Why they pick Vivo as a destination is beyond me.)
Crazy Thing #4: I got a job...time to say WOAH! The job was recommended to me by Tian Jie, which is to act as translators for the artisans from China. Easy money, considering that the items they are selling cost so expensive.
Well, i will end my post now. Got to prepare to go back to school.

DAMN !!
BOO!
As i am writing this entry, i am eating beancurd while watching Little Einsteins on PLAYHOUSE DISNEY!
DAMN! So bored from staying at home 24/7. My weekday morning routine since school reopen is to occasionally take my 2 cousins to school, take them from school, and find ways to spend the rest of the day. ARGH!!! GOING MAD SOON!!!!
But luckily, before i lost the last vestiges of my sanity, relief came in the form of SJAB. I'm going back this saturday to help them in their CCA orientation performance. Haha, just 'guest-starring' in their 'production'. But still i must cut off my beatiful mane of hair. DAMN!
Contrary to others, i don't miss school life, or the school. I miss the people in it. Because they are the ones who made school enjoyable to me. I MISS 4F!!!!
